FPPC Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) for the Stanton City Council
The Stanton City Council are elected officers identified in Government Code Section 87200 and file statements of economic interests with the City Clerk’s Office. Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the City Council may be obtained on the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) website or by contacting the Stanton City Clerk by email at: PVazquez@StantonCA.gov.

FPPC Campaign Statements (Form 410, 460, 470, etc.) for the Stanton City Council
Effective January 1, 2021, AB 2151 requires a local government agency to post on its internet website, within 72 hours of the applicable filing deadline, a copy of any specified statements, reports, or other documents filed with that agency in paper format and must be made available for four years from the date of the election associated with the filing. Please note that certain personal information for statements that are posted electronically (i.e., online or by e-mail) are required to be redacted. Form 700 - Statement of Economic Interests
City Council Members and some designated City Officials are required to file Statement of Economic Interest forms in accordance with Government Code Section 87200.

DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS (FPPC Filings):

Campaign Statements - Form 460
Pursuant to Government Code Section 81000, also known as the California Political Reform Act, candidates and committees are required to file campaign disclosure statements that provide detailed accounting information on money spent or contributions received in support or opposition of a candidate, campaign or measure. Political Action Committee statements are available for review in the City Clerk’s Office.

The City Clerk’s Office is the official filing officer for campaign disclosure statements related to elections for the City of Stanton and local City ballot and initiative measures. Additional information regarding Campaign Finance Reporting is available on the website of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC).

Statement of Economic Interest – Form 700
(AB 1509 adds GC § 87505 – Political Reform Act)

Public officials and designated employees must file Statements of Economic Interest. Public officials are specified in Government Code Section 87200. They include Council Members, City Attorneys, City Managers, Planning Commissioners and persons who manage public investments. Designated employees and certain consultants who hold positions that involve making or participating in the making of decisions which may foreseeably have a material effect on the holder’s financial interests also must file. Such positions are listed in the City’s conflict of interest code; people in these positions must file Statements of Economic Interests – Form 700 pursuant to the disclosure categories specified in that code.

The City Council Members are elected officers identified in Government Code Section 87200 and file statements of economic interests with the City Clerk’s office. Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the elected officers may be obtained by visiting the City Clerk's office or the office of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC).
