Golden State Water: Conservation and Rationing Plan

On Friday, June 3, Golden State Water Company filed with the California Public Utilities Commission to move to Stage 2 of their Water Shortage Contingency Plan. This notice (link to attached) was distributed on Monday, June 13 to inform customers of the activation to Stage 2 of Schedule 14.1, identify water use restrictions, and inform them of mandatory conservation efforts in compliance with executive orders from the governor and the State Water Resources Control Board.

By June 26, 2022 all Golden State Water customers will be in Stage 2 of the Conservation and Rationing Plan, which includes limiting outdoor irrigation to 2 days per week and eliminating the use of potable water for non-functioning turf at commercial, industrial and institutional sites.
