City of Stanton Moves up 32 Positions in California's Safest Cities List of 2021
Stanton now ranks #46 in SafeWise's California’s 50 Safest Cities of 2021

Stanton, Calif. (April 13, 2021): SafeWise has released its seventh annual Safest Cities Report for 2021 that highlights the top 50 safest cities in California. This year, the City of Stanton has been listed as the 46th safest city in the State.

According to the report, the City of Stanton has moved up 32 positions on the list from 2020 to 2021. Rankings were established using recent crime statistics and data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The City of Stanton is safer thanks to a deliberate, multi-agency commitment to make public safety a priority. The Public Safety Department, led by Public Safety Director Jim Wren, and Stanton Sherriff’s Department, led by Captain Cruz Alday, are actively involved in establishing and maintaining partnerships with community based-organizations and continuously seek innovation and community connection through our Community Enhancement Officer and Outreach Coordinators. “Making significant improvements in our level of safety can be challenging, but we are proud of the impact that our efforts have had on our residents and continue to seek new means of creating a safer Stanton for all,” said City Manager, Jarad Hildenbrand.
