Citizens Academy: Now Accepting Applications

The City of Stanton Citizen’s Academy is a four-week community and leadership development program designed to heighten citizen awareness and create better-informed citizens who will promote a positive outlook regarding the city and community as a whole.

The Academy provides citizens with an opportunity to learn about the internal logistics of local government, along with the City’s history and the future direction of the community. The goal of the Academy is to attract and retain engaged residents and business owners to serve as potential City ambassadors and volunteers for projects as they arise. The Academy will also provide City education and leadership skills to those individuals who may desire to serve as a future commissioner or elected official.
