Bio for Rigoberto A. Ramirez
Mr. Rigo Ramirez was born in Compton and raised in Long Beach, California. In 1995 he married his wife Jhovana and bought their first (and current) home in Stanton, where they felt a strong connection to both the residents and the community. They have one son named Nicholas.
Prior to City Council, Mr. Ramirez served on the Stanton Planning Commission. Currently, Mr. Ramirez serves on the City of Stanton Development Committee and is the chair of the Stanton Business Alliance. He also serves as an alternate for the Stanton Community Foundation and the Stanton Collaborative. He is also an active member of the Blessed Sacrament School Consultative Board, Orange County Youth Motivation Task Force, and the Servite High School Board of Directors.
Mr. Ramirez currently holds the title of Director for a retirement services firm that he has been with since 1991. He is responsible for twelve representatives that provide retirement services to clients across eight states. In 1990 he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University. In his spare time, Mr. Ramirez enjoys volunteering for non-profit events and managing Pony Baseball.
