Classes & Programs
We proudly partner with a variety of contractual instructors who wish to share their talents with our community. These fee-based programs are offered at both City facilities and at local businesses and are taught by skilled and talented instructors. OUT OF SCHOOL TIME RECREATION
Out of School Time Recreation (OST) is designed to provide Stanton youth with a safe and nurturing place during after-school and non-school hours! Join us for homework assistance, reading, core curriculum lesson plans, character building, sports, recreation, leadership, artistic and cultural enrichment and healthy development activities.
Location: Stanton Central Park, 10660 Western Ave.
Date: Monday -Thursday
KIDS NIGHT OUT
Kid's Night Out is a win-win for everyone! Parents, take the night off because Kid's Night Out is all about the kids. Offered the last Friday of the month during the school year, kids ages 6-11 will enjoy a themed night of recreation games, arts, and crafts, special presenters, movies, and so much more.
Location: Stanton Central Park & Stanton Family Resource Center

TEEN NIGHT OUT
Teens and tweens, we're so excited to offer you your very own night out event! The theme changes every event, but the fun never stops!
Dates: Quarterly, next date: Friday, October 13
Activity: Detective Mystery
Ages: 12-15 years
FAMILY NIGHT OUT
Bring the whole family for a night out! Filled with fun for everyone, families will enjoy a free dinner followed by an evening of games, prizes and other exciting activities with your Stanton neighbors!

The above programs are offered for free, but require preregistration via our online registration system. Sign up for your favorite recreation activities at your convenience, 24 hours a day, seven days a week! Registering online is fast and easy. Follow this quick guide to help you get started. Class Cancellation Policy
A full and automatic refund will be issued for all classes canceled by the City of Stanton and/or the independent contract instructor.
Refunds and transfers can be requested in person at City Hall, in writing by sending an email to CommunityServices@StantonCA.gov or via phone by calling (714) 890-4270 at least one business day prior to the start of the first class. Please note that City Hall is closed on Fridays. If a participant fails to attend a program, the participant is not entitled to a refund. Exceptions to the refund policy may be authorized by the Community Services Director and are granted on a case-by-case basis.
