Housing Stanton

The Community and Economic Development Department coordinates activities that preserve and enhance the character of Stanton's neighborhoods. Housing Staff are responsible for implementing the programs identified in the City's Housing Element and the federally funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). We work closely with our Public Safety Team to ensure that residential properties are safe and sanitary. Check back here for available loans or grants to assist homeowners or renters.

Pursuant to California Health and Safety Code (“HSC”) Section 34328, the Stanton Housing Authority (“Authority”) is required to annually file with the city clerk of the City of Stanton and with the Department of Housing and Community Development (“HCD”) a report (“Annual Report”) of its activities for the preceding fiscal year.

HOUSING ORANGE COUNTY
Thanks to funding from the Regional Early Action Planning Grant Program (REAP), OCCOG is building a microsite dedicated to helping our member jurisdictions and the public learn about housing-related topics. While the ultimate site with all the bells and whistles is being built, we have a sneak peak at some of the explainer videos and helpful links we will be providing. They plan to launch the new site in Summer 2021.   In the meantime, please view their educational videos on housing below.  The Spanish version of Part 1 can be found here.  The Spanish version of Part 2 can be found here.
