City Council Compensation
Each Stanton City Council Member receives a monthly salary of $850, as specified by Stanton Municipal Code Section 2.04.050. Such salary shall be payable at the same time and in the same manner as salaries are paid to other employees. Like other part time staff, Council Members are also enrolled in a PARS ARS 457 plan, with the Council Member contributing 7.50% of their salary. The City does not match contributions to this plan. City Council Members do not receive health or retirement benefits.
Planning Commission Compensation
Each Stanton Planning Commissioner receives a monthly salary of $150, as specified by City Council Resolution 2008-10. Such salary shall be payable at the same time and in the same manner as salaries are paid to other employees. Like other part-time staff, Planning Commissioners are also enrolled in a PARS ARS 457 plan, with the Planning Commissioner contributing 7.50% of their salary. The City does not match contributions to this plan. Planning Commissioners do not receive health or retirement benefits.
